Songjiang Group signed the contract for the Dongguan Waterworks project on March 20, 2017, providing flexible rubber expansion joint products for the project. The rubber ball in this project is made of natural rubber, with hot-dip galvanized flanges, suitable for ordinary water as the medium, and comes with a three-year warranty.
Introduction to Dongguan Tangxia Water Company:
Dongguan Tangxia Water Company was established in 1993 and is a government-owned enterprise under the jurisdiction of Tangxia Town. It is primarily responsible for supplying production and domestic water to the people of Tangxia Town, as well as the sale, installation, and distribution of water accessories. Under the correct leadership, strong support, and care of Tangxia Town Party Committee and Town Government, Tangxia Water Company has developed and grown over the years, continuously improving its scientific and technological content. It has evolved from one water plant to four water plants, with a total water supply capacity of 510,000 cubic meters per day. This includes the Central Water Plant with a capacity of 90,000 cubic meters/day, Fenghuang Water Plant with 250,000 cubic meters/day, Xiagongyan Water Plant with 100,000 cubic meters/day, and Niumianpu Water Plant with 70,000 cubic meters/day.
In 2010, the company completed the comprehensive integration of the town’s community water supply workstations, forming a “network” for the entire town. Currently, the company’s water supply pipeline network covers most areas of the town, with a total length of 191 kilometers for pipelines with a diameter of DN300 and above. The company currently has 287 employees. Over the years, the company has focused on the recruitment and training of talent, with 3 engineers, 12 assistant engineers, and 108 employees with a college degree or above among the staff.

Introduction to Dongguan Tangxia Water Plant Flexible Rubber Expansion Joint Products:
For this project, we provided DN800 hot-dip galvanized flange flexible rubber expansion joints. The rubber flexible expansion joint is composed of inner and outer rubber layers, fabric layers, and steel wire rings, forming a tubular rubber component that is vulcanized and then combined with metal flanges or parallel joints. This product reduces vibration and noise, compensates for thermal expansion and contraction due to temperature changes, and is widely used in various pipeline systems. It is suitable for connecting pumps, valves, firefighting equipment, pipes with significant vibration, and pipes with frequent temperature changes. It is mainly used for lifting and conveying raw water and sewage, supplying water and circulating cooling water for thermal power plants, metallurgical industry, condensate, chemical transport in the chemical industry, cooling in the petrochemical industry, and flexible connections between long and short-distance pipelines in other industries. Due to the high wear resistance of rubber, it is also suitable for the low-temperature transport of granular and powdery materials in all industries.
